Function FontLoad() Foundation
Loads EGA or VGA fonts from a file.
FontLoad( <cFileName> , ; // Type: C
[<nFontArea>] , ; // Type: N Default: 1
[<nCharOffSet|lChangePixelHeight>], ; // Type: NL Default: 0
[<nNumberOfChars>] ; // Type: N Default: 256

Value | Description |
---|---|
0 | Font is loaded |
-1 | Invalid font area specified |
-2 | Not possible in this video mode |
-3 | File not found |
<nFontArea>
Currently only font area 1 is supported.
<nCharOffSet>
If the 3rd parameter is numeric it specifies the number of characters of the loaded font to be ignored.
If this parameter is .T. the video mode is adjusted to the pixel height of the loaded font if necessary.
<nNumberOfChars>
Specifies the number of characters beginning at <nCharOffSet>+1 to be used. If the 3rd parameter is not numeric the 4th parameter is ignored.
This function is not supported under Windows.
