Installation

Insert the CD-Rom into your computer and start the Setup program. By default, the ADSDBE is installed in the directory C:\ALASKA\DBEW32 (indicated as <ROOT> below):

Requirements

Using the Alaska ADS DatabaseEngine (ADSDBE) requires the Advantage Database Server (ADS) version 5.1 or higher from Extended Systems to be installed on the file server, and the client software on any client station accessing files via the ADS DatabaseEngine.
