Serial Port Foundation
Under a modern operating system serial communication is performed via a physical device driver (PDD). Thus, all functions of CA-Tools III which directly access the hardware for serial communication became obsolete and are not supported. Two functions are added to XbToolsIII to manipulate the timeout processing of the PDD.
