Method XbpStatic():destroy() Foundation

Releases the system resources of the XbpStatic object.

:destroy() --> self

This method returns the object executing the method (self).

The method :destroy() is part of the life cycle of an Xbase Part and releases the system resources requested using the method :create(). The XbpStatic object becomes non-operational after this method is called. However, the object remains in existence and can later request system resources again using :create().

When an XbpStatic object has children, this method implicitly calls the :destroy() method of each Xbase Part contained in the :childlist() (see :childList() in the XbpPartHandler()).
